Clarissa Maracci is a freelance journalist and consultant for youth empowerment, women empowerment, and human rights.
After graduating in Law from the University of Bologna in Italy, she moved to Kenya and worked with different NGOs. She founded the project Sauti ya Mtaa, a citizen journalism platform that she implemented with the organization Pawa254.
In 2016, she was awarded the Knight VICE Fellowship for Journalism Innovation and attended the CUNY School of Journalism in NYC.
She works as a consultant with different NGOs in Europe and in Kenya.
